lots of curls.

Every day is arm day.

That sounds tight.  I bet you have a firm handshake, and some good vascularity in your forearms.  It looks scary in guys that have a lot of that, i'd hate to get in a fight with someone like that.

My goals are different.  I want to be able to use my hips and have some power.  I do sprints on my rowing machine because it's a full body kind of movement.  I want endurance and mobility.  So i gotta have enough muscle in my legs and bike a lot.  I want my hammies to be strong so i'm doing kb swings and similar work.

Eventually, i'd like to start doing kettlebell sports, and focus on the K&J or just swings.

Anybody else sad over the passing of Big Lenny??

My daily workout consist of 1 sit up getting out of bed, and then just casual walking to get to where I need to be (step amounts may vary).

I woke and got out of bed, does that count?

I've been wanting to have this thread to be used as a day to day workout log for everyone. I think that we can get ideas from each other through the community thing.

Anyway, today i did the following:

-1500 calories on spin bike
-200 calories on rowing machine
- 5 set giant set of reverse grip unilateral military presses, 10 lbs* 10 reps
- KB swings with my 70 lb kettlebell, only did singles but came back several times.  I really like doing singles with a heavy weight because its the best way to get stronger

Ab work:   I've had some back pain lately, and from what i've read on APT, a big part of that is weak abs.  When i do a lot on my rowing machine though, my back feels great.  But when i double down on the bicycling, it feels worse.  So that's a clue that i need to work my abs more.  So i'm doing both from top to bottom with my ab wheel, and from bottom to top with L-sit progressions (just in the early exercises).  I did a little of both tonight, as well as a few bent presses since I like forgotten and otherwise odd lifts as well.

I've also gotten a new supplement that is working great.  It's just quinoa.  I eat it raw, but from what i've read, quinoa has this prohormone called ecdysterone which is one of those legal steroid things, but it's in quinoa naturally.  I've had more energy lately and am eating more, so it looks like it's working.  If it affects my mood negatively i'll have to give it up but until then, it's full speed ahead.

Feel free to ask me any questions y'all might have about anything i've written.

I typically warm up with a mile jog, stretch, hit the weights as my main workout, cool down with a little calisthenics, then stretch again. I only have time for it on the weekends but I'd like to go back to weekdays once I become self employed. I typically do a customized body split with more core on Saturdays and more arms and legs on Sundays. Usually five sets of 6-10 reps with a burnout of certain groups at the end. I have to avoid some exercises due to knee and back problems but I lean toward free weights for maybe half my routine and machines when they give me better engagement than the alternative. My best exercises would probably be the fly machine which I max out consistently and the seated calf press where I use three plates aside.

i wake up early and do a condensed version of my workout on the weekends due to the manual labor job that i have for now. I'm a working and quite stiff guy sometimes. But hey.

So this morning's workout was:

-200 calories rowing
-600 calories on bike
-Ab work (just ab wheel)

and now i'm off to unloading trucks

lol, i don't use anything for seated calfs, but i use 180 lbs or more on the standing.

What do you do for core stuff on saturdays?

60 minutes of Ring Fit Adventure. No, I'm not kidding. I do that every day. I usually burn around 150 - 200 kcal according to the game and 400 - 600 according to my Samsung Galaxy Watch. I have no idea what might be more accurate. What I do know though is that I lost 12 kg of weight in the last six months and all that while playing a video game!

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

I do 20 min on a treadmill (faster speed + height increased) during the weekdays.

1 hour during weekends and holidays

I try my best to stay under 2,000 calories.
