Summer in Mara

I wanted to play something chill and this was my choice.  Basically an open 'sea' world game with some minor RPG/Survival Crafting elements.
I enjoyed my time and played it for a hour or two for each day playing it more can be annoying with fetch quests.

Big + is the fact that this game will be cheap during sales on any platform and that makes it a recommendation for any gamer.

Star Wars Dark Forces Remaster

Alright I really enjoyed this boomer shooter (never played it) the only thing that was dissapointing is the game lengths.

Give or take 3-5 hours.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

After playing Halls of Torment (very good) I had nostalgia and play Diablo 2 Resurrected.I have also played a bit Risk Online on steam.

I got fully addicted to GT7 again, been going through the power pack in VR, 4 of 50 races left.

I completed the 6 hour endurance race on Suzuka yesterday, felt too short in VR lol. But I spread it out over a couple days as I don't have 6 hour continuous to play. It's an undocumented 'feature' that lets you save your progress in endurance races by hitting pause, then going back to ps main menu and close GT7. That way it saves progress which you can resume later. The caveat is that the game treats it as a red flag event, the race restarts from that lap (rolling start) on fresh tires (only fuel level get saved) so any lead you created up to that point is gone. (It does remember if you lapped cars)

Anyway, test case completed, now gearing up to do the 24h Nurburgring race over the next week. Finishing Suzuka in the sunset in VR was magical. The AI still sucks though, won with 2 laps lead on nr 2, 21 laps lead on nr 20. The AI ignores blue flags so they race you every time you lap them (actually speed up, AI always has better acceleration, but slow in corners) which keeps it entertaining.

Racing in VR is pure zen :)

Been playing the following...

I also finished a nice short and sweet indie game by the name of Venba as my first game beaten in 2026.

So finished Stalker 2 and needed something else to play. Was gonna wait for Code Vein 2 but needed my soulslike fix right this instance so I’m playing Ai Limit.

Parry? Check
No durability? Check
Infinite stamina? Check!
A unique system where every attack increases a bar that the higher it goes the more my attack damage is and my skills deplete said bar? Oh my.

The absolute best Armored Core game ever made. I know many people new to the series began ewith VI due to Souls fandom. VI is fine. Just middle of the pack for AC games. This right here is peak. The first time Patches shows up. White Glint is the best AC design. And holy shit SPEEEEEEEEED!

Thinking about trying to get Baldurs Gate 3 going but it's so daunting a task.

I finally started Claire Obscure, so far really enjoying it. Unfortunately with the time I have Avilable for gaming it will take month to get through it

So after 10hrs of AI Limit I’m not sure how I feel about this game anymore. On a difficulty scale of 1-10… 1 being Demon Souls and 10 being Wuchang FF it’s more a 4/4.5 probably comparable to Code Vein 1 or something like Dark Souls 1&2. Basic enemies are significantly harder to deal with than the bosses. But what I truly don’t like is the level design… it’s so bad… I’m following a powerpyx guide (don’t @ me) and not even that can help just how disjointed and confusing the levels are. It’s like the developers added a bunch of shit together and thought .. “yeah, let the players figure it out, fuck em”
