Teardown.....

I thought it was a demolition game, it kind of is but it has so many timed objectives that annoy me. Just wanted to have fun...Pity.

It was the precision of objectives that got me, you have to demolish everything to a percentage, it's a wanna be powerwash simulator but gives none of the features that make that game playable without a headache. It was free on PS catalogue so no loss and there is a bit of stress relief to be had but I feel ya, zi know exactly why ya didn't vibe with it. Had they just made it more free form, ditched the check list and fix the physics where you can clean something out my demolishing it's base fully, it would have been a decent game. The voxels are also too small, it doesn't feel right. They tried for satisfaction and just made a headache instead.

Currently playing Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.

An actual fire Emblem game or one of those dynasty Warriors like off shoots? I'd really like another fire Emblem in the vien of three houses, the only reason I'd return to my Switch.

Playing Astro Bot finally, really enjoying it.

Do yourself a favour and make the platinum the final goal of the game. It makes it soooo much better.

Video games are so far beyond an artform, they are a strong medicine amongst many other things. Halls of Torment is indeed better than Vampire Survivors and any Fiablo cause it ditches the main story and just does end game right up front. I don't know how far it'll go, the grind is beyond fun alone but It's not like I'm really aiming at goals, just playing is the reward in itself. It is delightful.

It's a Dynasty Warriors spin-off game based on Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It's fun to me.

After finishing Ghost Town (excellent) I moved on to their prior game, The Room VR.

Equally fun puzzles to solve but rather loosely tied together in 4 stages. Also an older VR game whithout free movement (teleport and snap turn). That has some advantages with a puzzle game since you can only teleport to spots where you need to do something (kinda spoilerish though) but the big drawback it also puts me too close to things, having to reset view to be able to operate the machinery while sitting.

Anyway for puzzle fans it's highly recommended, fun stuck that all clicks as long as you pay attention to the surroundings. And since it's in VR everything is clearly visible and detail is not over the top so clues don't get lost in the mess.

And playing more Puzzling Places, just love building / putting things together. Soothes the mind, creating order in chaos :) Reverse entropy gaming.

Stalker 2 really pushes you to become a disgusting little loot goblin and honestly … after putting 50hrs into in the last 7 days … yeah, the gameplay loop is addictive. I’ll just pretend I didn’t see the stat that says I’m only 20% complete with the game ..

Ride The Chariot | ‘26 Completion

Late to the party, started A Fisherman's tale. Another older VR game stuck with teleport and disorienting snap turn. Also no subtitles, which sucks with APD. But the game itself is genius and perfect for VR to play with nesting doll type environment.

And completed the 1,000 piece version of the Mausebunker in Berlin:

Took up half my living room when it was finished. These puzzles take longer than your average VR game lol. So satisfying when it all comes together.

It's a terrific game, especially with A-life up and running now! I'm starting over soon, when I'm taking a few weeks off work. STALKER 2 feels like what Bethesda talked about with Radiant AI back in the day, a day that felt like a pipe-dram until now. The original had a version of A-life as well, but it was much less sophisticated, of course. I commend the developer for their ambitions, and their ability to deliver on it, albeit a bit behind schedule (the roll-out of A-life was long and filled with issues). It's especially impressive considering the immensely difficult the developers have been in during the development process, being a Ukrainian studio that had to flee and set up base abroad, mid-development.

Finished Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, and now I'm playing Hollow Knight Silksong!
