Time to dust off Pragmata and continue its lunatic playthrough. The hardest challenge I’ve done since doing Mass Effect 2 insanity on my first playthrough 16yrs ago. It’s the only platinum alluding me so far at 38/39 🥺

Mechblaze. Indie game that reminds me a lot of Assaults Suits Valken/Cybernator on SNES.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I knew yard do it. Hope it goes well. 🙏

FFVII Rebirth

Except for hard I basically did almost anything in the game and it took me 85 hours.

It is better than Remake in almost everything, game felt a bit Yakuzafied, big huge grindy serious but at the same moment also over the top with a ton of minigames.  Gave me the same feeling that I had with Yakuza 5, that game had 5 characters and 5 cities that could burn you out.
I am a bit done with FFVII games at the moment and I am happy it will take a while before Revelation arrives.

Now I just want to play some shorter games, maybe Ifinally  try Disgaea 6 or 7

Trying to get a rouglike/Rougelite going that doesn't have the propensity of turning into a game where you feel weaker by being nerves or debuffed. So Balatro, Binding of Issac and Hades are what I'm gonna try. After Ball X Pit, Vampire Survivors and Crawlers, these might seem too demanding but hopefully better than something like Dead cells or Cult if the lamb which is so much fun until managing the game becomes extremely frustrating. Hopefully one of these gets you feeling more powerful instead of everything becoming a mess. I got three bosses into Hades before so at least I know that one will be pretty great.

Saros would be a good option. The more runs you do the more permanent upgrades you can get. Add in the modifiers and you can make the game as hard or as easy as you want. The game does try to make you balance the modifiers but there’s an option on the settings to just ignore it.

Also just a side note for those wanting to play Saros and think the game will be too hard, if you die to the first boss (not the tutorial boss) I think 3-4 times it unlocks the option to use modifiers .. if you beat that boss before then you have to beat the second boss to unlock them like normal. The second area is a lot harder than the first but the boss’ 3 phases are basically identical so it’s easy to learn.

I seen it, I seen that it is the perfect option too but unfortunately my funds are low and I have to eat. Maybe next week, I'll live on some raman or something cause Binding of Issac is another Cult of the lamb situation and Balatro while great, RNG can end a really powerful run and it's such a sickening feeling. Hades is my best bet and if not Robo Cop Unfinished business might bit.

Hades is still amazing and somehow I got right back into it right away however like most action rouglites a way to build with less RNG would be so good, all I want is that multishot bow and arrow and the runs without it, I don't enjoy as much. It doesn't matter how the build goes after turning the bow into a gun, it's just I need to be able to get that to enjoy myself. The bow isn't fun without it and the bow and shield are essential for me in this game to keep distance. I do find the sword to be good with dash upgrades but it's not nearly as fun. Vampire Survivors does it the best where any build is fun even if RNG doesn't pan out for evolutions. Can't wait to try Saros.

Balatro is...addictive but that RNG. 😓

Hades 2 is better, Hades felt hard at the beginning and slow...but it got better when I played more
