Will Take2 release GTA V on the Switch 2?

Yes. 9 25.71%

No. 15 42.86%

Are we still talking about GTA V? 11 31.43%

A bit weird to talk about GTA V now that GTA VI is around the corner, but with the Switch being the only modern system to not have it, and GTA V somehow managing to still be around the top ten of most regions weekly, there's a big chance of it being a massive hit if it ever comes to the Switch 2. And that's the thing, if. Because if T2 ignored to make a port to the Switch (the game was on the PS3/360, no real reason not to bring it to the Switch), it's not unreasonable that they will not bother to port a 2013 game to the Switch 2, even if it'd be an easier port. Then again, it would still sell gangbusters, it's GTA,  it always does.

Will Take2 port GTA V to the Switch 2, or will they ignore the system again?

Also, I imagine the Switch 2 is going to release earlier than GTA VI, so T2 could have a big seller before that.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I doubt it, Switch 1 can handle GTA V as it's more powerful than PS3 and the 360 but it still hasn't been ported. On the other hand red dead got a pc port so who knows!

Nah, GTA5 is old news.

Switch could already run GTA V

Rockstar sees GTA V as a multi-player game mostly, the issue is not related with running it single player but probably a network issue

Also the game has sold 205 million copies. It's clear Rockstar don't need a single more copy sold for this game. They have gave it away for free a couple of times already and it paid itself multiple times and it's a steady source of money

They probably think it's better to use their developers to create new games

Not without robust online.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 48 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

Nah, they won't compete with themselves and GTA6 online sorry to say.

Why do people not get this?!? People who want to play games like GTA V bought a PS4. Nintendo needs *different* games on their system so that there is a reason to buy it.

To be completely fair, Microsoft made exactly the same mistake too though...

ummmm what? lol

You sound very confused. Switch gonna sell 150+ million systems, they don't need to do anything to give people a reason to buy it, the reasons are all already there. Sold tens of millions more than PS4 did with GTAV on it. I guess you're just a Nintendo hater eh

Anyway, sounds like they simply chose not to put GTAV on Nintendo for whatever reason. So doubt they'd put it on S2.

I can see them releasing it and selling it for an additional few million as well.

Nope.
