Now they just need to release a double pack of Wind Waker HD and Twlight Princess HD and the Wii U will be truly dead to basically everyone.

........ I still use Wii Fit U :D

Don't judge me! I'm not even a fan of the Wii U, but I'm in the ongoing habit of using that application. Literally counts my weight fluctuations all the way back to April 2008.

It wouldn't surprise me if there's less than 10 other people in the world who still use that lol.

And Yoshi's Woolly World, too.  You can't forget about that one if you want all of the WiiU greats on Switch.

That was ported to the 3DS but it would definitely be good if that wasn't stuck on two old platforms.

Underrated game. Better than 3 imo and definitely better than two. Hopefully the change the ending to not be a weird cliffhanger.

That'd be another much needed change. Personally I had trouble getting any further into X because it occasionally got confusing and the characters weren't as easy to like as the Xenoblade 1, 2 or 3 protagonists. Tatsu's presence hurt the game for me even more. -_-

Funny to see when Nintendo remaster a game the response is either good or neutral but when Sony does it the response is overwhelming hate, lol.

Indeed, but then you remember how big of a failure Wii U was. So it's nice that people have a chance to experience these games, especially almost everyone on this site, who were utterly bashful to its original platform 😉

Heck! Now that I think more about it, you could say that from almost every Nintendo platform excluding NES, SNES and handhelds. So many gems people were missing bc were reluctant to own a Nintendo console in opposition to Playstation consoles, wich were and are extremely popular on every region of the world

God I love this game and so happy it's finally happening. It's the Wii U game I wanted most. I spent 800 hours in that game and look forward to spending 800 more. This time I want to get the Ares mech.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Huge news. It's amazing that the entire Xenoblade franchise will now be playable on Switch.

It took me 3 playthroughs on my WiiU to get anywhere close to finishing the story of the game. I'm a fan of the incredible world they constructed and the side quest system was one of the major positive of this game.

Will finally have that chance with the Switch remaster !
Hopefully the QoL improvments will make the experience much more frictionless than the original.
Also, I really need to see how they adapted the Gamepad specific functions.

And also that teaser at end ... Sounds like we'll have a new Future Connected on our end ?

And another graphics comparison that lines up the times of day better for a better comparison, so the texture improvements are more apparent in the early scenes.  One interesting change is that in both comparisons Elma's hair blows in the wind in the Wii U version but not the Switch version, likely a consequence of the change to hair rendering.

haha, good eye!
Her hair is blowing a bit in the Switch version...

Lower wind velocity on Switch Mira?

I must be the only one who likes Tatsu.

He did almost get us all killed by crazy dog-like creatures that one time, but it was all cool in the end.
