The Action-Adventure category is borderline hilarious!

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (Action game)
Star Wars Outlaws (arguably the only real Action-Adventure game lol)

Several games were robbed for GOTY contention, but Silent Hill 2 is the one that stings the most to me personally.

Metroidvanias are quintessentially action-adventure games, though. I've never seen anyone argue otherwise.

But yeah, I don't think there was anyone else to put SH2. They need at least a horror/survival category but that would also include hilarious contrasts.

The DLC took Tekken 8 out, so sad for them, my prediction was pretty decent.

Pretty poor nominations is several categories.

They literally just filled Best Family Game nominees with Nintendo games and cutesy platformers lol. (Princess Peach Showtime!, Mario Party Jamboree, Zelda EoW, The Plucky Squire, Astro Bot.) Might as well just call the category Best Family-Friendly Game, these are almost entirely strictly single-player experiences.

Well Wukong is the only one that really took me by suprise, most players seem to love it but I didn't think critics would touch it due to that controversy they had.

Honestly I'm pretty happy with these nominees except Erdtree, but we had basicly been warned about that one lol.

I'd be happy if either astro, metaphor, or ff7 rebirth win.

I had to vote for Shadow Of The Erdtree in best art direction. From Software is just in a league of their own.

Voted Balatro for GOTY though
