average as in major city right? I could walk into any walmart or target in my area and get a Wii right now if I wanted.

So what are you still doing here? Hawk those suckers on e-bay to the rest of America, and watch the cash roll in!

if dont have $249 + 7% tax. College is expensive.

Credit cards, my friend, credit cards. You're a fellow American, you should know we all spend far more than we earn. It's in the Constitution!

I saw wii's in the wild twice this week, both times on shipment day, once they immediately sold out (were being put on the shelf and never made it) while I was in the electronics department, the other time they sold at least 7 of the 14 while I was in the store. Every person I saw get one looked amazed that they found it, and I heard several mentions of Mario Kart & Wii Fit, saw lots of purchases of Wii Play, & several copies of Smash & Galaxy. Also 1 Okami (!!!!) and a RE4.

First time was at Walmart, second time was at Target...

BAM! There it is!

Wii Code 3456 7941 4060 2924
COD MW Reflex 541192229709

Wow, I actually thought the supply issues were improving. There is a store I frequently visit and even though it had a big section for Wii games and peripheral, I never saw a Wii in stock there since the damn thing launch. Then, just last week, I actually saw they had four Wiis for the first time since ever. I don't know if it's still there or not.

I can see lot of wii here in Brazil, but here there are very expensive (700$) because import tax.

That's not the American way... if your using credit to buy something that's going to make you money that's just the way buisness works... that's why companys like Sony and Microsoft rake in the cash yet still owe millions of dollars in loans.

I've been staying out of the gaming stores lately so as to save myself some money... so i can't comment on Wii's in my area.

He lives in Mexico.  Rules are a little different then from the land of the disposable income and the home of people that love to spend money they don't have.
