2024 Year-to-Date, Switch now almost doubles PS5.

Good opening for Zelda EoW. I believe Link's Awakening was about 140-150K opening in 2019.

Surprising to see Zelda at Yen6980. I guess Nintendo left the 'standard*' price of Yen5980 now in Japan. In my country it still is the 'standard*' Eur59,99.

(* I know some games like botw/totk were already priced differently)

With 13 weeks remaining for the year and like last year softer holiday, it will be interesting to see if NSW can do 3 million this year. I think it will either just miss it or just get above it.

Opening week for Zelda is better than I expected, also Astro Bots is holding very well.

How does this opening compare to previous entries for Zelda?

And just like that Zelda EoW has outsold Asstrobot lifetime sales in Japan in just a week. And more than 10x sales at that. Once the dust settles it will show how Asstrobot ate Zelda's dust WW. Asstrobot never had the chance. Facts.

I believe Link's Awakening for Switch was a bit more then 140K. Tears was 1million+.
