They did in 2011 for the 3DS lol. Although we are due for another remake since the 3DS remake is now as old as the original game was when the remake released lol

Damn this makes me feel old.

I know it really doesn’t feel like it would be, but math says it is.

Pac man? Space invaders? Oregan trail?

Pac-Man and Oregon Trail have been remade a bunch.  There is even a Wii remake of OT and one as recent as current gen consoles lol. Not to mention a million spinoffs. OT itself every version is a remake. https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/10009456

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Morrowind, because it needs QoL upgrades. Great game.

But Witcher remake is number 1 on my list.

Oh man, yeah. Witcher 1 needs a remake, that's top of my list. That combat is awful. Wither 2 not so much but it'd be nice. That be a dream come true if the whole Trilogy was at the Witcher 3 standards. If they managed to make 1&2 more open while doing so would be perfect.

I thought Witcher 1 was confirmed being remade.

I think there would have been a time when I would have gladly said certain FF games or Chrono games but I'm not srue I have faith that not only will SE not mess about with them but whether they will translate well to modern gaming. I would love FF6 made to look like FF7R but play like FF6... but I said the same thing about FF7 once. :P

If anything I think I've gone off the concept of remakes entirely, there's no point when yo can just make a new entry in the game series, for example, I'd love to see a new Rival Schools or Star Gladiator, they wouldn't be remakes just new games. Same with Jumping Flash.

An actual remake? Maybe New Vegas, ...

...oh. Colony Wars and in VR too.... man. G-Police as well.... hmm, these can just be new entries.

Hmm, pie.

I kinda don't want to say MGS1 because I feel there is a very good chance of that happening some time after Delta.
Chrono Trigger doesn't need one, but I'd still love to see it in a 2D-3D style.

A full remake of Ocarina of Time would be interesting. (Besides the 3DS one)
But I would love to see a Final Fantasy 8 Remake. (I know 9 is in the works)

Oh yes, if anything the remasters for GTA done is cement the need for remakes. Imagine GTA SA with GTA5 level graphics and features but I'm not sure R* pursuing stuff like this is a good idea or we'll be waiting till 2050 for GTA7. Alas, If they could organise a Blupoint level team. One can dream. And yes on MGS1, Idk why they didn't start with that instead of 3 and work up towards 3 instead they'll be going backwards, it's definitely coming though at some point.

It's probably because MGS3 is the easier one to make a faithfull remake. 3 aged really well, so they're remaking the visuals and calling it a day, and that's fine. They could actually do a lot more with it (porting the MGSV moveset to 3, remake the areas and more), but without Kojima I'm glad that's the direction they're taking with Delta: a faithfull remake like OOT3D or the N Sane Trilogy. Oh, and it's also the first of the timeline.

A San Andreas remake is never going to happen, sadly. Maybe it can, considering they can put GTA Online in it. But eh. I'm not holding my breath.

They showed quite a bit of gameplay that was not possible in the original, so it's definitely been enhanced to be more in line with MGSV's combat and movement. Probably more advanced than that even.

As for why they chose to start with MGS3, I believe they go over that in this interview with David Hayter.

Nice one.

Since FFVI Pixel Remaster, Trials of Mana Remake and Super Mario RPG remakes exist....

I would say either Chrono Trigger remake or Terranigma remake.
