The funniest thing is FF7 Rebirth deal not only hurt Square-Enix ... it did nothing for PS5 sales. How the fuck do PS5 sales actually go *down* when FF7 Rebirth releases, lol. Can't even make that up.

And this is why Nintendo wont release switch 2 or whatever this year.

None of these things have anything to do with that. 

Companies don't make hardware release decisions based on week to week conditions. 

The issue, as has been the issue with several Nintendo platforms in the past, is likely the software was not ready. 

I could see Nintendo delaying S2 launch in favor of building stock to avoid scalping.

And to have a bomb launch lineup of software. 

In Japan, Switch has eternal life.
