The funniest thing is FF7 Rebirth deal not only hurt Square-Enix ... it did nothing for PS5 sales. How the fuck do PS5 sales actually go *down* when FF7 Rebirth releases, lol. Can't even make that up.

None of these things have anything to do with that. 

Companies don't make hardware release decisions based on week to week conditions. 

The issue, as has been the issue with several Nintendo platforms in the past, is likely the software was not ready.
