I mean they're the same game, with the Switch version adding a baby mode and messing up the final credit tune of Wise's Stickerbrush. 

So I would say the WiiU version is the superior one.

And now I want a Tropical Freeze NES demake. That'd be so awesome.

You'd have to change it so much it wouldn't be "Tropical Freeze" any more. It wouldn't just be an uglier version of the same game, the levels would have to be simplified to the point where it would be a different game altogether.
