First reviews are in for Mario & Luigi Brothership and it's sitting at 79 for now with 33 reviews, lower than anyone predicted though not by a whole lot as @Darwinianevolution is pretty close at 81. I for one certainly didn't expect Mario Party to review better than Mario & Luigi, oh well.

I was a little bit skeptical on M&L:Brothership. No longer developed by AlphaDream, the trailers showcased unpolished visual presentation & lack of character diversity (looks like a bunch of plug and outlet humanoids), etc. I’m sure it’ll be a fun game, though can’t say this was entirely unexpected. Def should’ve lower my score after EoW reviews dropped…no way M&L was gonna nearly match Zelda.

Hey @UnderwaterFunktown. I hope it's okay for me to post the final totals? (I was getting impatient lol.) I've included points gained for each individual title, in case you are interested in double-checking my numbers.

Ahh fair, didn't have time for more than one thread yesterday. I'll check the results and post them officially real soon!

Alright the final point tally for the Nintendo League is up with some help from @firebush03 (though you forgot the bonus points for closest prediction so good thing I checked). The final official results are as follows.

The distinguished top 3 for total points is:

  1. @NobleTeam360 - 76 points
  2. @Machina - 69 points
  3. @Darwinianevolution & @Wman1996 - 68 points

The best prediction averages was:

  • @NobleTeam360 - 7.6 point average for 10 predictions (won the League with two less predictions!)

And the highest number of closest prediction was also @NobleTeam360 with 4, including the first three of the year back to back.

Congratulations to everyone on the board! We all put up a good fight though there was a pretty convicincing winner this time around, props to NobleTeam360!

I guess I'll also share here that I do plan on continuing the Prediction League next year but unless people feel strongly about the console-specific leagues I plan on switching to one combined league with the 15-20 biggest/most noteworthy releases of the year regardless of platform, which should be easier for me to manage than 4 different ones. Let me know if you're greatly opposed to it.

2025 will be a very busy year.  15-20 may not be enough.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

Hard to say just yet, but yeah it will probably be a more loaded year than this one at least.

Second, nice! Congrats on the win Noble.

A combined league makes it easier to keep up with, so I like that idea.

Surprised I ranked so high (tied 3rd with Darwin) when some of my predictions were 5-10 points off.
2025 is shaping up to be a massive year for Nintendo software with the looming announcement and release of Switch 2, bigger than 2023 probably and perhaps bigger than 2017.
