For me, I’d go…

2020 - Ori and the Will of the Wisps
2021 - Metroid Dread
2022 - Chained Echoes
2023 - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Yeah Ori and Dread are close seconds for for me; superb games.

The 2020s are off to a really great start so far, in my opinion tracking ahead of where the 2010s were at this same point.

Being that others are giving their top picks for the 2020s, I’ll chime in with my (albeit generic) favorites.
2020- ?? (wasn’t playing games this year)
2021- Metroid Dread
2022- Elden Ring
2023- Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

I don't quite feel like the 2020s have a game that I'd pick as "Game of the Decade" material just yet, as great as some of them have been.
Still, we're not even halfway through yet, there's another 6 years left for that; at this point the 80s, 90s, 2000s or 2010s hadn't received their GotD (in my opinion) yet either.

Me before playing BattleBit Remastered.
