Yeah the Switch has this one in the bag, it will just take time. The DS has flatlined by this stage so every week from now on Switch should gain.
Since the peak of DS's lead, Switch has already closed the gap by about 7 million units.

The Series still has a shot at landing closer to 360 than to Xbox One, (that would require getting to around the 900k mark) which would be a small win in itself.

I'm thinking the Xbox Series X|S has enough time left to cross one million lifetime. It is 3 years into its life with another 5 years until the next-gen Xbox.

Yeah I think 1 million in Japan is reachable for them. Weird that they're doing better than Xbone in Japan but on par or worse everywhere else.

Yeah that is interesting to see how Japan is the one place they are doing far better compared to last generation. While it isn't very likely, it is the one place the Xbox Series X|S could outsell the Xbox 360. Well I guess technically the Xbox Series X|S outsold the Xbox 360 in China due to the 360 never getting an official release in China.

The Switch outsold the Xbox 360 in the US in November. I've gone and adjusted our Xbox 360 estimates (and PS3 estimates) in the US, so the Switch is now ahead of it in the US. There was recent data that showed NPD/Circana adjusted their US figures for the 7th generation down (~2% for the X360 and ~0.75% for the PS3). I did them through the available date, but didn't go beyond that. Lifetime Xbox 360 and PS3 sales remain the same as before. So what I adjusted down in the US I adjusted up in RoW.

So this does mean one final month of the Switch vs Xbox 360 in the US comparison. I will probably replace it with Switch vs DS in the US. Though the Switch is 10.84M away from outselling the DS in the US. Sadly we don't have PS2 figures.
