Thank you all for your patience! This was a strange month on here for various reasons!
First off, we have our new number 1, which is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. 4 of the top 5 are RPGs (and every individual platform's top performing game was an RPG as well). Tekken makes a huge jump into the top 5. Tomb Raider Remastered also makes a leap into the top 10. And following the release of Spider-Man, Insomniac's The Wolverine makes its top 10 debut as well.
Speaking of debuts, the other surprise is the highest debut is not a game but a peripheral, the Playstation Portal.

The combination chart is also a bit different this month as well. While Final Fantasy and Mario RPG hold the top 2 spots, Persona 3 charges into the number 3 spot. Prince of Persia makes a solid debut in the top 10 with The Lost Crown as does Tekken 8.

Adding in the placing of the games into the games with release dates to show where they ended up. Of course the usual suspects are in here. This placing is based off where they stand in the combined chart, though I only show the top 20 of that, so it might go a little below the top of the charts, number 21 and 22 both had more than 1 vote a piece at least. We'll see how this goes next month as Mario, Star Ocean, Like A Dragon Gaiden, and The Talo Principle all release this month.
Game | Release Date | Placing |
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth | February 29th | 1 |
Super Mario RPG | November 17th | 2 |
Persona 3 Reload | February 2nd | 3 |
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth | January 26th | 4 |
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown | January 18th | 7 |
Tekken 8 | January 26th | 8 |
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered | Februarty 14th | 12 |
Star Ocean: The Second Story R | November 2nd | 14 |
Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name | November 9th | 21 |
The Talos Principle II | November 2nd | 21 |
There's actually a tie for the top spot in PC games between a Reload of 1 game and a Remaster of 3 games. PC still has a lot more games in it than its console counterparts though.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth obviously beats out the rest of the competition this month. In fact, if you combine Tekken, Like A Dragon, and Metal Gear Solid 3's total points, Final Fantasy would still have more.
The hype for Baldur's Gate is real. It leads the pack of Xbox titles this month.
