I just saw this while watching LAW & ORDER (who made that decision?) and the whole time all I could think was "what the hell am I watching??"

But redspear is absolutely right: this commercial is probably the most informative video game commercial I've ever seen. There's no way a "cool" commercial could pack what's basically a tutorial into the ad, so they went all-out corny and hoped for the best.

I think it'll pay off. But then I like education.

I don't hate Nintendo, although I can't say I like them as much as Sony after the N64 left me feeling a bit jaded. I don't hate MS either. I don't like everything Sony does. They have royally botched their relationship with Japanese developers because of poor sales. Where are my RPG's!

These commercials are just too much for me, bad memories of the shittiness that was the 90's. I guess the 2000's aren't much better in all fairness, but the commercial I saw makes me not want to play the game.
