Forums - Sales Discussion - CESA 2023: updated sales of additional Nintendo Switch titles

Nintendo fans demanding a Paper Mario that returned to the strict rpg rules of yesteryear. Meanwhile Paper Mario: Sticker Star sitting at 2.49M and being the second-best selling entry in the series right after Super Paper Mario, which is another so-called washed down experience.

Damn those casuals, ruining my ultra-hardcore rpg series smh.

EDIT: Ooooops, completely forgot about Origami King for a moment.... well umm, the point still stands.

D. Kawashima has sold over a million copies. There's no more excuses to not release it in North America. If Nintendo does so, they'll add hundreds of thousands more copies to the pile.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 48 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)

They haven't released it in the US because it's apparently illegal to sell software that tells you that it can train your brain, or something along those lines, iirc. Legal issues anyways.

I thought it had something to do with them having to prove the games actually make you smarter.

Shrugs, idk. There's seemingly a risk of getting sued that probably isn't worth it.

This is even dumber.

Cool to have confirmation on Dread passing 3 million.
Yoshi's Crafted World isn't too far off Yoshi's Island as the highest selling game in the subseries.
Mario Maker 2 may just about leg it out to 10 million with a little luck.

True. I mean WHAT IS a guarantee to make you smarter?

I also read on Twitter FE Echoes: SoV made it to 1 million!

Glad this game got the milestone it should've had sooner. Kinda they released it at the beginning of the Switch reign because it could've garner more good hearsay otherwise.

Makes me hopeful, the FE team at Intelligent System will go back to something closer to this with a possible remake of FE 4 Genealogy of the Holy War, because that latest anniversary game left a bad taste in my mouth 😟 Or just give it to Koei Tecmo !

Incredible sales for 3.Houses

I hope we don't need to wait too long for a sucessor with similar structure and gameplay

I liked Engage combat system and map design, but everything else was a downgrade compared to 3 Houses

Yeeeaaahhh, let's just hope this "anniversary" game (hidden as FE Heroes ad) will be left as it is cuz I think it's entertainment value doesn't even match something of the level of FE Fates.
