If you have a PS5 I recommend Saros as well, I liked it even more than Returnal.

Also, yes, Returnal is hard lol, I still have to come back to play the second half of it.

I haven't gotten a PS5. I basically only game on my PC at this point. At this point I've bought all single-player PS games on PC except Days Gone and Spider-Man 2.

Saros easier than Returnal?

When you start Saros I would say it's even harder than Returnal, I never had much problem with Returnal 1st boss, had more with normal enemies, but I had quite a bit of trouble with Saros 1st boss.

After that, I think it slowly step down to become an easier games as you play, as you have an upgrade tree you can keep boosting your stats (bosses being roadblocks so you need to beat bosses to unlock more of it) and starting runs on the 1st biome makes the late game easier (and more fun IMO, doing longer runs on Saros is really fun, I kept doing it even after I got the platinum).

You also have modifier on Saros (used to be after the second boss but the last update seems like unlocks it if you die too much) where you can give up some stuff to get some benefits as more damage for example.

Saros is a much better rounded up game than Returnal IMO, you can make it harder if you wish too, the many guns on the game are excellent to play with too, it is a clear step up IMO, even as I have yet to experience half of Returnal myself.

An here I am stuck at the first boss of Returnal. Not finding anymore permanent upgrades beyond a couple has really stalled things.

It has been some years, but as I far I remember getting quite decently away from the bosses on Returnal gave me enough time to react well to their attacks and chip some damage when I could, I honestly don't even remember any pattern of its attacks so I hope at least the distance tip helps a tiny bit lol

PS CEO confirmed what Jason already reported some months ago, 1st party single player games are PS exclusive and multiplayer games will continue being released on PC.

I didn't like his statement LOL.

If they are going to keep releasing on pc or not just say so or even better just don't say anything. They don't want to make people on pc mad so they keep buying their services? Because 4 services (4:loop, Hunters Gathering , Break In and the MOBA) can't be successful, a couple of them are going to fail miserably doesn't matter if Yotei releases on PC or not.

I finally beat the first boss last night. I ended up streaming and drinking, which apparently did the trick LOL. The second area is much nicer looking than the first area. I got decently far in my first attempt in the new area.

Hey, that's great to know! I suggest you start your next run from biome 1, I do remember defeating boss 2 and 3 on my first time playing both biomes, and I had started on biome 1, plus, I was also streaming when I did it lol, (sadly didn't use to record Twitch VODs).

I do agree biome 2 looking the best from the 3 I played, I would say 2 > 3 > 1. I really need to get back to it when I still have Saros fresh in my mind.

I don't save my Twitch VODs either. Well rarely do so. I probably should and just upload them to my YouTube channel.

Big shout out to Bethesda with Starfield on PS5. I’ve crashed 3 times getting to the main menu. 1 time accepting the EULA. 1 time loading creations and the creation club in general straight up does not work. Pathetic studio.

Ride The Chariot | ‘26 Completed

Bungie will try experimenting with PvE mode next month, after the disastrous numbers season 2 is having as expected from the rapid decline in players happening during the entire of season 1. The free period the game had didn't help at all.

Looks like they are trying hard to change it as fast as they can, I can hardly imagine how much pressure they are dealing with based on the performance the game has, but I hope they can do their best to find a bigger audience.

I also hope it eventually has a proper story mode and a physical release for it with access to the PvP OG mode included.

It looks really, really bad for Bungie right now, specially without Destiny 3 in the horizon.
