Concord was releaded and the studio shut down.

Marathon is trying to be salvaged and Bungie is about to have mass layoffs.

It doesn't matter, it'll result in layoffs regardless, the game isn't even considered good internally.

You ask as if I want layoffs, I guess it's my fault they are wasting time on games nobody want.

You're taking info you yourself, or anyone else for that matter, can't even verify right now. Who knows if it actually plays well or not? We can wait for an actual beta to determine this.

Regardless whether YOU want the game or not, doesn't change that wanting it to be cancelled guarantees ppl lose their jobs, in this economy no less, where a launch at least offers the possibility of some semblance of success that keeps ppl employed and available to create other types of experiences.  

Not surprised at the situation with Bungie, they literally told their most dedicated and loyal set of players to fuck off when they bet the farm on Marathon over Destiny 3.
And now look, that player base bailed and not going anywhere near Marathon…..smh

All the Marathon stans need to go kick rocks, cause I don’t care how much fun you claim you are having playing marathon (you ain’t having fun😂) that game literally killed Bungie.

This is incompetence and mismanagement rolled up into a fat joint and smoked by every decision maker at the studio.

People having contact with it, from devs to players, sure doesn't seem to have much faith on it.

Cancelling a game headed to failure, as Sony has done multiple times recently for the lots of cancelled gaas games there never made it to a release, actually saves money, and saving money is better than losing even more money to have it release regardless.

That could actually save some people's job, as again, getting Concord and Marathon released did not prevent a studio shut down and a reportedly coming mass layoff happening. Losing less money = having less pressure to layoff more people. Companies only care about how much money a job can justify, to begin with.

Also, if it releases and becomes another joke like Concord, that would also affect Sony image as well, as Concord still does, and that actually gives more reason for Sony to shut the whole thing down.

But yes, I'M (let me make sure to write it uppercase as well, so I'm the focus as you did), the one wanting bad things to happen.
