Forums - Sony Discussion - PlayStation Nation |OT| Playing Astro Bot on the Horizon Until Dawn

I didn’t watch the show but I have finished watching the highlights. I’d already seen Mafia 4 trailer as it leaked but regardless, it’s maybe my second most anticipated game now. Any single player ND game is a day 1 for me. The Outer Worlds 2 looks amazing! And that’s about it. Overall glad I didn’t watch it.

Congrats to AstroBot and Asobi. So much for Rebirth's guaranteed win oh @BraLoD T_T

Metaphor didn't just cannibalize votes like I was expecting. It coldly whooped my baby. All that effort, love and ambition for nothing. Maybe next time, Naoki Hamaguchi and team.

Okami AND Onimusha?! WTF.

Yeah… I’ve watched the Intergalactic trailer like 20x at this point … hopefully it’s not too long a wait for it!

Rebirth didn't even win the RPG awards, I was wrong, very wrong.

I'm happy for Astro tho, it was the second game I had more faith for winning after Rebirth, afterall.

Astro is also easily my GOTY... but I haven't played that many 2024 games to be fair, lol. Even so, the only "problem" is that it's kinda short, because I can't remember how long it has been since I spent every second from start to finish so happy while playing a game...

Maybe when the next FFVII game comes out, it wont have such hard competition from Atlus lol

Anyways, this year's TGA was surprisingly good.

I was hoping for that rumored God of War Greek Hero Saga collection to be announced....maybe Sony will have a show for themselves later this month....highly unlikely.

I feel like even if you somehow don't like Astro Bot, I think it's good that it won.

There's so much push on games being bigger, bombastic, etc. I think it's great when a smaller title gets recognition.

(I know that It Takes Two won in 2021, but most of the wins seem to be huge games like Elden Ring)

And I think it was well deserved besides. Hoping that Team Asobi can get more opportunities.

It's funny the game they spent almost half a billion on. Bought a studio. Paid for an ad for an Amazon show for Concord. Died within 2 weeks and the studio is gone. The game they just threw out there to fill a gap (Astro Bot) with little marketing was a runaway success. Sony management is blind.

Has me a little worried, especially with the space/sci-fi rumors over the last few years. Looks like the ND sci-fi rumor is going to come true, and there was the SM sci-fi new IP rumors as well. We got Concord, which was going to have a space/sci-fi side story, though minor. We've got Destiny, with Marathon on the way, space/sci-fi again. Hell Divers II, space/sci-fi.

SP is sticking with the Ghost Series, but how many others are possibly making space sci-fi (related) games? I hope we don't get a slew of them. Even if they're good games, they won't come off as good as they should if they keep having space/sci-fi themes.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron was just listed on the PSN Store. Looks like licensed Activision games may be making a return across the board.

TRANSFORMERS: Fall of Cybertron

This and Deadpool popped up on Xbox store a couple months ago This is interesting as the game is great. Would love to play it running better.
