I think the biggest thing the EU and NATO countries can take away from the whole Greenland fiasco is that putting all your eggs in one country can be detrimental to your health.  This has been a very good lessen for NATO and in that you can say that the Republicans are correct.  Trump sounding like an idiot for an hour and backtracking on everything proves the Dems were correct as well, especially since he walked away with a concept of a plan.
