If Indians and Pakistanis can relocate, why can't Americans fuck off back to Europe and hand America back over to the Native Americans?

I’d settle for Sadanand Dhume fucking off back to India, and shipping Musk back to South Africa.

Trump on Canada: "I spoke to Governor Trudeau ... they don't have military protection, and you take a look at what's going on out there ... people are in danger ... they need our protection."

This is like straight word for word of Putin's rhetoric for invading Ukraine.

Though Putin did also throw out 20 other excuses but this matches one of them exactly.

Who is Governor Trudeau?

We are in danger?

Yes.

From America.

Does President Trump understand money? Not money as in cash, but the supply of money, the price of money as measured by interest rates, and their impact on inflation? The answer would appear to be no after Mr. Trump called for lower interest rates on Wednesday—the same day the Labor Department reported an increase in inflation for the third straight month.

"Interest Rates should be lowered, something which would go hand in hand with upcoming Tariffs!!!" Mr. Trump posted on his social-media site. The layers of intellectual confusion here are hard to parse, especially since higher tariffs will mean higher prices on the affected goods. But perhaps the President wants the public to look elsewhere when assigning blame for rising prices.

Yet if he's trying to blame the Federal Reserve, which controls short-term interest rates, he has the analysis backward. Rising inflation means the Fed must be more cautious in cutting rates. This is how financial markets read the news that the consumer-price index (CPI) rose 0.5% in January. Long bond rates rose sharply, with the 10-year Treasury note popping to 4.63% from 4.53%. This reflects market worry over inflation.

Btw, all this pink stuff is who Trump is about to tariff, Lol.

Sadly you are.

That is a soft excuse to invade and "protect" you.

The danger comes from the USA itself, that's a threat.

He is all talk, massive coward. But sadly maybe some of the people under him are not and are crazy enough to try it.

Still doubt that it's anything more than a blank threat, but this petty stuff can always escalate out of control.

Our economy is definitely in a bit of danger, yet this invade stuff I don't think so. Not until Trump starts a massive dehumanization campaign against Canadians.

But true, there can be some crazies trying to start stuff. However Canada is big, bigger than the USA.

But we will have to look out for American Maga terrorists.

So far it seems Trump is mostly interested in burning the USA down...

The conclusion I'm drawing from the news I've read today is that Trump is really set out to deteriorate US strength against Russia and China, and I'm not sure whether it's isolationism or his stupidity (or both).

On another note, Trump really is a showman, because it's been like every other day that he manages to say something more stupid/outrageous than before. I wonder how long he can keep this up. I'm also half-seriously wondering whether it's a conscious choice to overwhelm everyone with notable news all the time.
