PS5 is definitely doing at least 2.5 million this year on the back of FF16 alone.

Hmmmm, nope.

The FF franchise has lost so much of that hardware pull since earlier gens in Japan. I don't see this title as the one that will define the PS5 there, like at all.

Yes, there is a two-fold gap in the numbers for both sides.However, Sony and Nintendo, and most Japanese companies, use Media Create's numbers, not Famitsu's
