How do I find global weekly or monthly software sales now or even America's software? I do not see a link on front page.

Series X has been easily available for months in Europe. Even PS5s Ragnarök bundles are available at will now, though that wasn’t neccessarily the case at the end of November. |
I just checked Amazon and yeah I could order either one right now if I wanted so that's good to see.

We stopped doing software estimates at the end of 2018 and only report official software figures from publishers, developers, etc. You can see those figures on specific game pages or on the main GameDB page (https://www.vgchartz.com/games/games.php?order=TotalShipped). On the front page you can see some of the more recent shipment figures.

US dollar is stronger than the Euro, I suspect they will release a different model next year and/or will try to reduce their cost and will start shipping more units into Europe next year. But that's just my opinion. |

You may be right about next year since the drop to 6nm already means more chips per wafer and a cheaper revision in the form of my PS5 1202A so supply should continue to build and the combination of the cheaper revision and the price rise to 499 euro equating to $529 per console should see more stock moving to Europe regardless.

The EU itself is also a market which will face a massive decline this decade thanks to the energy and inflation problem Europe is facing. We'll also having to deal with the aftermath of the Ukrainian war. So aside from the euro being weak, console owners in the US will on average buy a lot more games per system. People don't understand how big of a crisis most European countries are facing. Cheap and affordable energy is like oxygen to the economy.
Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
So far Switch is selling about the same as NDS in it's sixth full fiscal year (purple) with 6.68 million versus 6.69 million, it's going to be close if Switch can sell more than the 9.01 million the DS sold in Q3.

While it may look good to be leading a resurgent Xbox in NA taking your best market for granted is a dangerous game to play and the longer it goes on the more dangerous it becomes . Even though the PS3 did go from struggling to sell 60/70 million to eventually sneaking past the 360 with around 87 mill sold helping see Sony out of the doldrums to at least having a little wind in their sails coming into the next gen, it was mainly Europe that drove the PS4's increase something that in turn helped strengthen both the Sony and PlayStation brand image worldwide. There may be logistical reasons to the discrepancy, but if I put money on it, it would be due to there focus not being about how the PS4's overall sales success was achieved and how to replicating but that their pride took over and retaining NA became the focus, now that's ok except they have done so at the expense of other areas. |
I think it have more to do with limited inventory and selling where they believe will profit more than just beating MS on NPD.
