You mean anti-semitic?

No, anti-semantic: the kid was a notorious grammar nazi.

Grammar nazis are the worst kind of people. Well maybe second worst.....behind Jews.

*For clarification I'm Jewish and mean no harm to my Jewish brethren, it's just a stupid joke*

Why? I mean, what laws exactly did he break?

He's tweeted so he's already been released I think. Something is it's really disheartening how a bunch of crazy people have used this fun moment to spread harmful misinformation and hatred towards the kid, saying he's alt-right or racist or a Nazi based on no real evidence. Way too many people doing zero critical thinking.

And I almost believed that (just based on the amount of people corroborating it), but thankfully never shared my opinion or liked tweets that offended/defamed him. Will wait for more information before running my mouth or "agreeing" with anyone.

Well, most people are trolling, but i did a little research on Twitter.

Looks like it was Trespassing or Mischief. I can't say for sure if that's enough to arrest him, though. The worst he did were interrupt an event to talk some nonsense to a million of people watching it.

Trespassing, probably the same day in jail and fine someone that runs out at at football game would get.

That's the scariest part, so many people can be treating something like it's a fact when it isn't that it can seem legit to many, many other people despite the lack of evidence. It's clearing up now but unfortunately there will still be some people weeks from now or even longer who still believe the falsehoods due to never seeing the truth or even worse refusing to admit fault and instead double down on it. I've already seen some of the latter today after Jason Schreier covered it.

Yeah, that's a pretty silly reason to arrest somebody.

At the time, sure. There's always the possibility that he's dangerous or something so it would make sense then. But once it's over and he clearly never hurt anybody, it just seems pointless.

Not like I'd support the action he took inherently but let's be honest, I take these kind of moments during the VGA whenever than the monotome pace at which this show was rolling.

He technically single-handedly made this show memorable for years to come just like the "f*CK the Oscars" director.

Yeah, I've even seen some ppl comparing him to The Quartering and I'm just like

it was just one kid spouting gibberish on stage, and even Geoff got assmad, acting as if TGA is on the same level as the Oscars, and yet we had Will Smith slap a guy. The kid showing up on stage is far tame compared to that.

That's twice TGA has been made memorable so far. Maybe Geoff should take the hint already, because monotone speeches and watching some dev/CEO stepping up to claim a chunk of metal isn't as memorable as those two moments we've seen over the past few years.

Like we've seen Reggie and Kojima show up multiple times now, them being there isn't "whooa" worthy anymore, but that kid showing up got everyone tweeting insanely fast about it.
