It's still hooked up but not used it in over a year. I need XBX ported to Switch.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I did and I still do. It was my favorite of the three consoles, and I owned all three. Like the Wii, it was unique and fresh... only unlike the Wii, its games were more "core" in the way they were played and developed. I really miss its vibe.

It is still hooked up to the TV. I really need to get back to finishing some games on it.

Yeah I have one. It's actually one of the only ones I've ever got since launch day. I think maybe Dreamcast is the only other one but I'm not sure. It's funny that two very low selling machines happen to be the ones I had since launch.

WiiU sadly never really hooked me. It didn't while it was current and since then every game, or basically every game, that was worth it, has since been ported to Switch so it also isn't a very useful console now. The system's best game, easily the best game, Breath of the Wild, feels more like it is Switch's game instead of WiiU's. It's technically my favourite game on the system, and I played it on it, but if I don't count it, I'll have to say I was positively surprised by Captain Toad Treasure Tracker. A fun little game. I spend most time on Super Mario Maker though, that was made to be on WiiU.

I own a Wii U. It's still hooked up but hardly used. Got the white 8gb model right before they discontinued it so it was dirt cheap at Walmart.

Had a blast with Mario Party 10, Super Mario 3D World. and Bayonetta 2.

That was the last console I ever geeked on. I didn’t want to get it but ended scouring for one at launch. Went full digital and bout a terabyte of games that I eventuality beat. I sold it as Nintendo left a bad taste with me.

I enjoyed the Wii U especially the Ubisoft games. Everyone hated on those but they f-ing amazing. I 100%’d a lot of them. I used the Wii U for porn ALOT! Met cool friend on miiverse. Joined some people from here on the D&D remake. Lots of good times.

I had a blast with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8, EarthBound, and some other titles. While you did have to pay a la carte for Virtual Console, the game selection was better than Nintendo Switch Online until late 2021 or 2022. And you can play virtually every Wii game ever. I can't fault the Switch much for this, because there would be no way to do backwards compatibility on it.
The OS might have been more sluggish than the Switch, but it had far more personality. If you could take the Wii U OS, make it faster, and add a few more things you would have the perfect Nintendo OS.
Switch is better as a pure gaming machine, but the bells and whistles and other features are better on Wii U. But ultimately, it's not enough to make it rival the Switch in quality.

Used to own a white Wii U 8GB model on day one, i had so much fun playing Super Mario 3D World and Splatoon with my friends. I think i had large Wii U collection before selling them for the Wii U ports on the Switch, this was i believe back in mid 2017.

This year, i got it back but black Wii U 32GB with Wii U pro controller and small Wii U games collection that still have never been ported to the Switch yet. Wind Waker HD, Twilight Princess HD, Splatoon 1, Star Fox Zero/Guard, Xenoblade Chronicles X, NES Remix Pack and Sonic Lost World.

And i got one extra Wii U game that have been released at the same time together. Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
