Could have sworn we saw something about it being sci-fi before but can't find it now.

Could see a scenario where Activision wanted a Destiny replacement though. We know it's narrative focused, a senior writer from Obsidian in California is on the writing team, they're based in Poland which is booming with RPG talent thanks to CDPR and they've hired from Techland, CDPR, Ubisoft Massive, IOI, etc. As they also have a studio in Sweden. I think it's a likely chance it is an RPG, the logo points towards Sci-Fi.

Jeff Grubb on X: That Steve Fukuda project is in the bin. Laying off a ton of people. There is no Titanfall 3 -- as this should make clear. I don't think people realize just how much EA Football Club and Apex Legends missed last year. Dragon Age isn't even a factor compared to those two.

IGN understands that roughly 100 individuals are affected by the changes, including a mix of developers, publishing, and QA workers on Apex Legends, as well as smaller groups of individuals on the Jedi team and on the incubation projects. IGN also understands that at least some, though not all, of the developers from the incubation project reported on in March have already been moved to work on Iron Man at EA Motive.

Against the Storm - Console Release Date Trailer | Dark Fantasy/Roguelite City Builder

June 26th and on Game Pass. It was already on PC Game Pass as of December 2023. It seems to be launching into console Game Pass on its console launch. Currently sits at 28k reviews on Steam with a 95% positive rating so another banger for console Game Pass users in June.

Side note but this thread has been so low activity for quite a while, it has made me reluctant to even bother posting anymore, a long term issue but now I'm not OP I don't feel a responsibility to post either. At this rate I'm going to end up signing up to ResetEra, Lmao. I hate it when I end up posting more than 3 posts in a row, Lol.

I love Against the Storm. If you like colony sims then this offers a new take on it with the roguelite mechanics.

Streaming Oblivion to my deck instead of trying to run it natively and it's working great. Get some stutters and regular drops to 50fps in some areas on a Ryzen 3600, definitely the most cpu intensive game I've seen, but it's fine.

They absolutely need to fix the difficulty settings though lol. Looked up the values. Adept is normal damage for everyone. Expert the enemies deal 250% more damage and the player deals 70% less damage. What an insane jump. Adept is far too easy for me but Expert is jumping up way further than I want. It's a good job there's mods for it on PC I can check out.

Game looks great though, even though I'm on a 1280x800 screen.

Against the Storm is awesome, I'm surprised that it wasn't already on consoles.

I like it like that but good to know. When I fought against the first crabs I was surprised why they were so strong haha.

Killed an Imperial Officer for the Dark Brotherhood in secret, I took his severed finger, fast travelled and somehow had a bounty, must have been a glitch, I paid the bounty and they "confiscated my stolen goods" but what made me laugh is them not taking the dozens of Imperial keys I looted from his body AND his severed finger, my character must have shoved that somewhere deep. 😂

LOL this is the kind of magic I miss from Bethesda games! Where in Starfield I experienced more annoyances from the way the AI would act, in Oblivion, I'm laughing!
