Not sure if we've decided on whether we should share the info or not, but the less we say about what we know, the better our chances at preventing it from happening again.

I'll just add that it doesn't appear to be as serious of an issue as it originally seemed.

First time I witness a hack attack in progress on a (big?) site. It was funny.

I was quite enjoying the *ahem*....dark era of VGC.

Hope we learn who was the prick that done the attack.

Want to say, it was cool to see the entire Staff team come together yesterday, from Admins, to Writers, to GameDB, to Moderators, etc. Credit to the Staff team as a whole, they were working on the issues almost all day yesterday. There are still some things we have to investigate and fix; Talon is trying to come up with a solution to restore posts but thanks for the patience and sorry that something like this happened.
