Well forsaken got delayed so I'm glad this took its spot.

I usually don't pre-order and have a hard stance on the practice but I'll make an exception for this.

Day 1, superb series.

Most hyped game for me. A lot is riding on this. I think expectations are very high. I am almost a bit disappointed that they are going to be done with norse myth with this one. Could have easily made it a trilogy. Could mean that the game is more packed. I just hope it does not feel rushed narratively. ... And that they do not kill Kratos off.

Also the devs could be lying about that to catch gamers off guard.

I actually expect a third game to focus on Atreus.

Naughty Dog lied about getting to control Ellie in the first game.

for PS or for games as a whole? 

As a whole ,this last 6 months of the year we are getting GoW, Xeno 3, Valkyrie Elysium, Pokemon V&S.
I guess Splatoon 3, Mario + Rabbids and Gotham Knights are worth mentioning. 
Bayonetta 3 presumably will release this year as well. I doubt it, but hasnt been officially delayed yet. 
I, myself, am awaiting for the PS release of Tunic later this year as well. 

Boy I'm ready. Will pre-order and try to get some discounts.

For gameplay I prefer the original trilogy myself, but as a game as a whole I like GoW2018 more (did you finish it? because the gameplay change sensibly in the later half).
