It looks like Starfield is trying to be what Mass Effect: Andromeda attempted and utterly failed at being.
Aside from that... it was okay, I guess, but nothing really earth-shattering. At times it felt more like a super-long commercial for Game Pass than anything else.
6.5 out of ten. A lot of stuff that made me think "oh that's interesting I'll maybe check that out on Gamepass", but nothing that made me thing "omg I must have it". Starfield is not my cup of tea.
Tough show to judge. Hated all those commercials for stuff already out. Lots of copycat, "genre of the month" games coming out, too, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. Many of the smaller games I've never heard of looked interesting and some of the bigger games looked fun even if they're more of the same.
Seriously, though, Phil needs to say a prayer every morning for Bethesda. Persona was definitely a win, as well.
Most of the show gets a 5/10 but the end got a 9/10 ... I'll compromise on a 7.
This was quite good and similar in quality to the one from last year I think so the best presentation yet unsurprisingly. Silksong coming out within the next 12 months is excellent news.
comment on star field: i hope they can deliver better gameplay. Gunplay looked bad, very basic and oudated, while potential for exploration is likely top tier and the roleplay experience looks great (damn, you can even custom your crew and ship)... i hope they can improve that gunplay, looked terrible. Also, i hope they can work on these "1000 planets" and create lots of content, i rather have a small game packed with things to do than a gigantic empity game.
Best show of anything shown this year by any of the big three. Based on some of the high rankings I gave some of the other shows I have to give this one the highest score.
...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.
So, no Halo campaign news? That's disappointing.

You wanted them to show less first person shooters, but you also wanted them to show off Perfect Dark?
Make up your mind.

It was mentioned before in the empire thread that it will come later because of a new direction. About Banjo, literally every team can make Banjo if they wanted, we saw a third party team that wanted to make battle toads and they. Just like Killer instinct and other franchises they are open to devs who want to make those games after Yooka Laylee it sadly became clear that many wanted banjo like games but also really don't sadly.
