Can't really say too much about the new Playstation subscription when it hasn't even dropped yet. I mean with the added perks as a whole. Not just Plus and Now. What gamers find value in is pretty much up to them. There will be totally different answers due to preference. At the moment, I find Game Pass to be the best by a country mile. We have yet to see how the new Plus will be. I have the NSO+Expansion. I believe Nintendo shouldn't drip feed as much as they do. Especially when there's older games no one has ever heard of.

I still argue Game Pass is the best deal and best value because you’re not stuck on console with Game Pass. For $15/month you get access to last gen and current gen consoles, PC (both through the Xbox app ,which you get the native PC version of the game including PC only games to download, and web browsers that allow you to even play on a Mac) and mobile with both smartphones and tablets. The sheer number of options to play all these games without the need to buy any dedicated gaming hardware is unmatched.
Plus is on console with streaming only for PC. That immediately hinders how much growth there can be for the service. There’s substantial value there for sure and I’ll probably get the mid tier for my PS5, but I think there’s more to get from Game Pass.

Cost wise both are pretty similar. Ultimate is actually the most expensive by a margin.
Plus guarantee's you some games. New games each month. Plenty of good stuff. More and more over time. You have to keep paying, but they'll always be there and available whenever you want them. Those games don't rotate out.
Plus also is offering a huge catalogue from the start, and it's BC catalogue is quite likely to grow, or at least end up more well rounded than what's available through XB and Game Pass. MS seems done with adding more BC, where Sony should be able to easily add more BC with the sub income.
There are still too many unknowns with Plus to be able to say it's the best deal, but unless all those 700+ games are garbage, it's got huge value.
I honestly don't see why people enjoy dumping all over NSO. For the price I think it's worth it. Even for the Expansion Pack. Especially if you do the family plan. Yes, voice chat is something that should be added but voice chat isn't a part of an online service's cost. It should be included at the system level or software level of each title.
If anything I feel there should be a clear communication between Nintendo and consumers on what legacy content will be offered on a month to month basis. They are really spotty with this. Sometimes they'll let you know in advance. Sometimes they'll just shadow drop them. If consumers are paying you regularly, then they should be kept up to date regularly. The new PS service will launch with nearly/over triple the games on NSO. I wonder why Nintendo wants to string people along waiting for new consoles and software to be added.
NSO is actually really similar to what PlayStation has introduced at least at the bottom tiers. But GamePass is still the best value in gaming. I don't even use it and I can admit that. You can't beat day 1 first party releases along with a ton of other really high quality games.
I think they r all sorta going for different things but either way based on quality of content Game Pass > PSPlus > NSO pretty solidly unless PSPlus+ is gonna be way different than I imagine

Gamepass is obviously the best value... As it's a subscription that transcends more than just one platform.
Sony isn't far behind now with their recent overhaul. (Yay! Competition!)
To be honest... And even with the "low" pricing of Nintendo Switch Online, I find it to be the least value as it just doesn't offer much. - The expansion's main draw is N64 titles... Which run like hot garbage anyway.

I only think that on Xbox the values of the games with gold are not close to the Play Station

I kind of think the best value is Nintendo Switch Online (basic) with a year of SNES games for not much more than a month of Gamepass Ultimate. Since I have a SNES classic I haven't actually used it for that myself though.
But even with a fairly hefty price Gamepass Ultimate comes in second though. I haven't been subscribed to it though and some of the games I was interested in have left, so not sure when/if I will.
