was bored so I geolocated it myself with satellite images lol

Arrow shows in in which direction the camera guy looks so it's either some echo from buildings or they really fight already in the middle of Kherson and not only some outskirts...

if Russians have to fight against partisans in one direction and the military in the other direction it could be promising to retake Kherson the next weeks or whenever...

It is most likely patizans. Going off of the wikipedia map (it gets updated frequently but may not be 100% accurate) the Ukrainian army isn't that close to Kherson yet. But if you have a resistance movement in the area they will have either a) heard of the launch of the counter-offensive and be attacking of their own accord b) will have been in contact with the Ukrainian army to coordinate their movements.

I know it's partisans, I just wanted to say that they fight in the middle of Kherson and not only some outskirts of it. And I guess Russian soldiers won't like to hear how Ukraine's soldiers come slowly from one side while the direction they would have to flee to is already fighting as well even if "only" against partisans. At least my morale wouldn't be pushed from that^^

It's now a "Special Operation in Donbas" and not "Ukraine"

IN two months time it will be a "Special Training Operation with our Neighbour Ukraine""

The above makes me wonder if Ukraine’s strategy here is force a mass Russian retreat similar to the withdrawal from around Kyiv and the northern front.

This is just me speculating but could be a realistic strategy against an enemy with superior, albeit poorly equipped, numbers.

No idea what the real numbers are but it should be obvious that they will be much higher as the estimated numbers especially for the whole of Ukraine. Official estimates are what? Like 15k civilian deaths in Ukraine? Russia completely destroyed whole villages and small cities in the first few days of the war before people could even flee. And millions didn't even leave the months after even with shelling around the clock. Real numbers will be horrible that's for sure. We just have to look at other wars to get an idea...

It'd be funny if they were forced out of Ukraine, including Crimea, and blew up the Kerch Bridge in the process, allowing them to call it a successful defensive operation since the enemy can't reach Russia anymore.

But, uh, enough of that. Let's see how the situation unfolds in Kherson first.

And how many of those 44 are those wooden decoys? My guess is 44. Lol

Western media and politicians have to watch their bias of a Russian victory and that insistent narrative against the facts of how well Ukraine is actually doing, it can be disastrous for future Western support of Ukraine and actually end in a self fulfilling outcome

When you think you will lose you don't do what you need for victory

I definitely don’t like how Russia is basically using the war as an excuse to attempt to get homeless to sign up for voluntary execution. They’ve been sending in troops from very poor villages, many without indoor toilets. These are just lives to cull for Putin because they have nothing left to take.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
