The Switch was adjusted down again?

Xbox Series continues to lead PS5 in America, this seems to be becoming the norm.
Switch just casually selling about a third of a million in a regular old week at nearly 5 years old, like a boss.

I'm curious to see what is going to happen once the big exclusives drop on Xbox.
Of course, Sony will have exclusives too, but I wonder how games like Hellblade II and The Elder Scrolls VI (assuming it won't come to PS) will help Xbox performance.

Perhaps this is so Switch can beat PS1 over and over again.
curl-6 bet me that PS5 + X|S sales would reach 56m before year end 2023 and he was right.

Hard to tell when Series S is in stock at retailers like amazon whilst both versions of the PS5 are sold out most of the time.
Time will tell which console will sell more in NA, but even the Xbone put a good fight against the PS4.

That may be a big reason, but it doesn't change the result.
I never said the long term outcome was decided, but these days, XS tends to lead more weeks than not.
I don’t know when it will start but I I think Xbox will start to snowball in North America relatively soon. If the PS5 does outsell the X|S in North America this year, I think 2022 will be the last year it does.
Microsoft’s stranglehold on western games development and gamepass will be too enticing for American consumers

I still think the fight for America will be a close run thing. Playstation is still a powerful brand and there have yet to make any serious missteps with the PS5 that Xbox can leverage the way they did with the PS3. That said, Xbox is the most competitive it has been since the 7th gen so it will be a fun one to watch.
I don't follow sales, but seems like switch, xbox and ps5 are all strong. Which is good for competition.
