"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

-Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance (PS4)

You have the collection? I got it late November (in the sales) and have been playing them all through in order, I'm a fan of the series but never got KH3 for reasons. On this note was planning to create a thread about the whole lot once I was done.

I'm currently on DDD, that has weird issues with abilities I didn't expect.

On topic, games beaten:

KH2 FM

KH: BBS FM

Hades - Plat earned

Currently playing:

Haven

KH: DDD HD

Hmm, pie.

I got both the physical collection ($20 back in 2018) and digital collection (last year when it was $20 on PSN).

I'm a huge fan of the series, got all of the original games (PS2, GBA, DS, 3DS), the PS3 Collections of 1.5 and 2.5 and on PS4 too. I plan to buy the PC versions when they come to Steam (hopefully later this year).

I was gonna get the Switch versions to play the games portable but they are cloud based so not gonna do that lol.

Though I've been playing the PS4 collection slowly in my current marathon (which is like my 5th marathon of the series - first time with the PS4 collection) since (and also played other games not in the collection)

I got KH3 and the Memory game too when they both hit $20 but havent played them yet.

I already beaten the following in my 5th marathon (that I started back in 2018 lol)

-KH1 Final Mix
-KH Chain of Memories (GBA)
-KH Re:Chain of Memories
-KH 358/2 Days (DS)
-KH 358/2 Days
-KH ReCoded (DS)
-KH ReCoded
-KH 2 Final Mix

Recently finished ReCoded on PS4 - gonna start on KH BBS Final Mix soon after I finish some stuff with FFXV I am doing now.

The last original KH game (not including the collections) I beat was DDD on 3DS but that was back in 2016.

The reason why its taking so long for me is because I'm playing through multiple games, got busy with life/work and I'm also recording/editing videos of my gameplay.

Yeah it can be, each is like at least a good 30 hours to make them at a comfortable pace. I'm luck I have less to play over all than you at the mo, which has allowed me to blitz through some. Although, question, you say Re:coded on PS4? I skipped this as it was just HD movie wasn't it? Sure plots involved but plot is the least of my concerns half the time (as it's a bit nuts. :P).

And honestly, I made it through about an hour of Re:Chain of Memories, did not like that gameplay at all.

Yeah, Recoded on PS4 is just a 3 hour movie.

Honestly the plot is pretty barebones as it was in the actual game.

Of the two movies - I'd recommend playing 358/2 Days rather than watching it cause there's a lot of stuff that misses in context but if you dont have a option, absolutely watch the movie for 358/2 Days

ReCoded's plot lines dont really affect the main plot of the series - its just a mobile game that they made which tried to rehash the original KH worlds like CoM did but placed gimmicky gameplay styles (JRPG turn based fighting, platformer and rail shooter, etc) without little to no story. The real Sora doesnt even know the events occurred lol.

I would recommend trying Re:Chain of Memories again, I didnt like the gameplay at first but got used to it and enjoyed it lol.

I played the GBA version twice and the Re version 4 times (twice on PS2, once on PS3 and once on PS4 - found it enjoyable).

Just Finished: Far Cry 5 (PS4)

I chose this because I was looking for another good co-op game to play. The co-op works well except that only the host's game progress would save. My friend was a trooper and played through most of the game twice for my benefit. The story alternates between being a humorous satire and getting into some deep spiritual and philosophical depictions. It is scary that this game is not too exaggerated from reality in some parts of the US. There is lots to explore, never though Montana would make a good setting for an open world game. The core First person Shooting and action mechanics work alright. The mission structure can get repetitive. I encountered some bugs and other questionable design decisions that hindered my enjoyment. Messed around withe arcade mode, which ain't bad. Some of the scenes are graphically impressive. I can't say that after this I am interested in playing any other Far Cry games though.

7/10
