Only 15k oled... damn. They really are either saving a lot for Christmas or they can't produce much at all.

Black Friday is a western thing so I imagine for this week they put higher priority on other regions.

It's not unusual for Japan sales to drop Black Friday week, last year Japan sold less on BF than the week before just like this year.

It's even mostly an american thing (cause you know, other countries don't celebrate thanksgiving), it starts to become a thing in other countries to justify sales period.

I live in Europe and I received several adds saying "black friday week" yeah no

Yeah you're right it's mostly American, Europe is catching up though, unlike Japan that basically doesn't get any BF boost at all.

Europe, Week before BF (2019) - 0.38m Consoles Sold
Europe, BF Week (2019) - 1.1m Console Sold

USA, Week before BF (2019) - 0.4m Consoles Sold
USA, BF Week (2019) - 2.44m Consoles Sold

Japan, Week before BF (2019) - 168k Consoles Sold
Japan, BF Week (2019) - 178k Consoles sold

So yeah, Japan sales were boosted by 6%, Europe sales boosted by 193% and USA sales boosted by 515% lol.

AC: NH is such a beast OMG

Team 2021 losing again, but still great numbers, if they could produce more OLEDs it'd probably be above last year.

Still bad numbers for the PS5, they're obviously prefferring to allocate all the units they can in the West while kinda paying dust to Japan (which makes sense).

Spoiler!
Or that number is the true demand for the PS5 in Japan, and a lot of the consoles being sold during weeks with way higher numbers were being exported to other Asian countries and the West.

Pokemon is such a beast, there is no other JRPG that even comes close to Pokemon numbers

Ring Fit Adventure comes very close.

ACNH is like a week or two away from 7m at retail.

Looks like a pretty decent a week for software. Not so decent of a week for hardware. Feels like all of the hardware should have sold more.

PS4 deceased.
Less than 1/6th the sales of the 3DS which was discontinued over a year ago.

RIP PS4. Lived long, died fast.

Rol already posted it, but I feel like it should be reiterated.

45 139.200 90.517 -48.683 -109.207
46 116.267 87.267 -29.000 -138.207
47 179.143 167.778 -11.365 -149.572
48 145.178 122.573 -22.605 -172.177
49 204.622
50 229.698
51 263.304
52 278.173

In these last weeks of 2021, the YoY losses are quite large compared with the rest of the year, -111,653 so far with OLED and Pokemon being the hardware boosters. Nintendo really needs to get control of their OLED supply in Japan.

The last 4 weeks all involve over 200k sales.
