Hardware sales

Last week's thread: Famitsu sales: Week 47, 2021 - (15th Nov - 21st Nov) (vgchartz.com)

Diamond and Pearl had a bigger drop than SW/SH 2nd week, though still just ahead overall (3k). Considering what Diamond and Pearl is it's had a great performance in Japan.

PS5 stock slightly improved, Xbox Series stock disappeared.

Huge jump for Animal Crossing, was there a special edition or something?

Wow at Animal Crossing, ouch at XBS.

Only 15k oled... damn. They really are either saving a lot for Christmas or they can't produce much at all.

Black Friday is a western thing so I imagine for this week they put higher priority on other regions. 

It's not unusual for Japan sales to drop Black Friday week, last year Japan sold less on BF than the week before just like this year.

They recalled it exists

Animal Crossing should get that 7m before the end of the year. Sadly it seems 2021 will be under 2020 in Japan unless there's a Christmas miracle. It's good to remember that no matter what the 2021 Switch performance is still an incredible one.
