pulling comments out of your butt

maybe stop shit posting

Yep, this kind of stuff sure helps a lot to have a great conversation.

And I was referring to those comments, which they sure came from my butt:

But yeah, they are all haters as well. Everybody is a hater.

Those tweets are nothing alike what you say

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

EDIT: Ugh, nevermind, I'm done with this thread. Let's see in 2 years.

Your opinion on the quality of the games is irrelevant.

I've been asked to define why these games aren't quality, so when I did, I got "yeah but that's you opinion". Really ?

Anyway, the problem with game pass is still the same: you cannot discuss it without getting a "hater" stamp.

For the last 6 months, several people criticized the lack of attractive games in the service, they've been called hater. And then we got a close estimation of the subscription numbers. And then the people praising the GP were like "that's normal, we need to have attractive games into the service - being Halo and Forza for starters.

So thank you for giving me the usual "hater" stamp, still shows that as of today, we cannot discuss game pass.

Let's try in 2 years.

way to misinterpret everything. This year has easily had the best releases, most day 1 3rd party releases(several AAA titles) then any prior year. Just because someone says Halo(especially after the delay) and FH5 will push subs is not saying the rest of the game released this year on the service are lackluster. It means, Xbox's 2 biggest IP's will really help push it beyond what any other day 1 release title could this year, which is true.

Nothing is gona change in 2 years. It dosent matter what happens a fan will never admit to there ever being any reason for concern.

I'd say most of us are just confident of what the future will look like on Gamepass, rather than super analyzing the present. Presently, most of the new games releasing on it are more like AA budget games, or older AAA games. But then when you look at the full catalog and realize how many series are represented by older games, and then when you look at all the studios they own, the vast majority of which were purchased in the last year or two, you get excited about all the day 1 exclusives it's going to get in the coming months. Already this has begun somewhat, and with each passing quarter we will get closer to the point where the studios are organized enough and running efficiently enough that they are pumping out a new AAA exclusive every month. I predict within the next 2-3 years we will be seeing this, and it will be a build up in the mean time to get to that level.

Holy Jesus. Not even Phil Spencer has that high of a target for gamepass. He was hoping for 4 a year. But ok. When that never comes or even Phil's target, everything is still without issues. Just keep waiting I gess.

And what promotes healthy discussion? Like when someone compares GamePass games to mobile games? And then when someone posts a long list of quality, very much not mobile quality games, you respond with “uh, outside of one game those are all old or not good” when in reality they’re pretty much all pretty good and “old” is irrelevant. Not to mention it wasn’t the point of his post anyway.

And thats great, you posted a bunch of tweets from people basically saying the same thing I did, MS missed their corporate bonus projections because Halo was delayed. I think we all understand that in order for GamePass to grow into what MS wants, they need a much steadier flow of exclusive games. No one has said otherwise, and that’s not what your post said. But again, you’re the guy always pooping on GamePass and it’s games. Which is fine, but then don’t get upset if people call you out for it. For example I have been very negative of Sony and can’t make any posts about them without getting reported into oblivion so what do I do? I just don’t post on that section anymore.

Cya in two years ?

1) Yes, Jesus is holy, I agree!

2) Okay, whatever the target years are doesn't really matter. Eventually, they will have so many studios well organized and under their umbrella that they will be making exclusives left and right. If they have 23 studios right now, and on average each studio releases a AAA game after 3 years of development (some will take 5+, others 2-3), then that's 7.6 higher budget games a year. But I think Xbox will continue to buy studios. Probably going to have a minimum of 30 when they are done, I predict.

3) What does this part mean? "Everything is still without issues"? I don't know what you mean there.

Because after they missmanaged 5 studios you think 4x will be easier? And all this will be accomplished in 2-3 years.

It means that when your absurdly high expextations dont get met you wi'll just move the date back and just keep waiting with no sighns of even coming close to that target.

What 5 studios have they mismanaged, and how?

I've been nothing but impressed by the games that have come out so far on Gamepass that are first party. Wasteland 3, Flight Simulator, Psychonauts, etc. Even if they aren't my cup of tea (Forza), I can still tell quality when I see it.
