And a lot of those 100 million are games released during the Switch previous years and it clearly shows why people, that are complaining that Nintendo rarely discounts their games, do not have jobs in sales and marketing.

It's a JRPG just because it's not anime style and such doesn't stop it from being so it's among Nintendo's own style of JRPG much like Pokemon, classic PM, Miitopia and the M&L games.

It's very unconventional but it is a RPG. As you progress, you gain levels, moves, money, you buy items and clothing(armor equivalent) that boost your stats.

Splatoon 2 sold 310k copies, 2mil and AoC sold 3mil everywhere except Japan, not just the US.
