Switch Sales: Allow me to introduce myself!

But we know that the major driving force for Switch is its hybrid format, so that could be true (not so much killed but severely reduced the market for dedicated handheld). The Switch lite is never much demand

Ring Fit and NSMBU join the 10-million-plus sellers club, bringing the total on Switch to 11, which is more than any Nintendo system has ever had, even Wii and DS.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is also on the brink and should join over the current quarter.

Ahead of PS4, tied with Xbox 360 - 6 of them are Call of Duty games.

Are you sure its ahead of ps4? I'm 100% sure this is not the case

Remember ps4 is a software beast, over 1.5 billion software sold. Is the switch even at half that number?

Selling lots of software doesn't mean any one title has to individually pass 10m (although obviously the PS4 has plenty of 10m+ sellers, don't know the actual number)

Cheers; so when Luigi's Mansion 3 joins the list in a few months, it'll have the most 10-million-plus sellers of any system ever?

Splatoon 3, BOTW2, Diamond/Pearl remakes and Legends Arceus also look basically guaranteed to join the club, bringing it to 16, minimum.

See my post above, I have no idea how many 10 million sellers the ps4 has but I would not be surprised if its at least 20

Guys please, this is VGCharts. You're literally two mouse clicks away from figuring this out yourselves.

Anyway, according to VGChartz, PS4 currently has 12 games with 10+ million sales, and just 1 game reached the 20 million mark (Spiderman)

I highly doubt that there are at most 15 10mil sellers on PS4, let alone at least 20. I would say it's much closer to 10 than 20.

Regarding the topic, the sales are insane. I wonder where the sales will end up. Number 3 or above in hardware is guaranteed but I think it has the potential to reach number 1 in software as well.

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

Great sales all around! Nice to see Nintendo kicking ass! Hopefully they can keep this up for the next few years and not pull the plug early.

Looks like Nintendo profits off of recessions. Wasn't expecting ACNH to surpass MK, but I was expecting ACNH to be slightly higher than it was. Hope it can still hit 40m this year!

Will Switch be adjusted up or down? Also, I thought 360 was at 84.0, meaning Switch surpassed it?

PS4 has 10 games that have sold 10 million or higher.

It doesn't matter if more games have sold on PS4 than Switch, Switch has Nintendo as a publisher. PS2 had over 1.5 billion games sold on it, only three of those sold above 10 million.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Great numbers. At this point, I don't see the Switch selling less than 150 million lifetime.

Just shows what a third party software beast the ps2 was and ps4 is.

Also first party sales on ps4 are insane to compared to the other gens.

Nintendo always sold gigantic numbers so its not that special (even thou switch first party sales are insane)

In some ways it does matter a LOT since i think sony makes money for every game sold.

But not downplaying the switch and nintendo, in my eyes they are the only true videogame company around, just hoped they would develop a lot more games...i need more games like xenoblade..
