Forums - Sales Discussion - Famitsu sales: Week 16, 2021 - (Apr 12 - Apr 18)

This will probably be the last week that MH Rise sells a 6 digit amount. However, it is also likely to pass 2m physical in 2 weeks. Those legs seem to have a slow and steady decline.

After many months of the PS5 selling hardware with no software, the mystery has been revealed. All of those PS5 owners wanted to get their hardware to prepare for Winning Post 9, 2021.

2 typos: it's PS4, not PS5 for Winning Post 9 2021 and MHR sold 110,050, not 110,500 units.

It's funny how everyone's happy to see a PS5 game while it's just a typo. Would have been great. There is no PS5 version for the game.

Sorry for the typos guys. My first news source wasn't so reliable. The first post has been updated with the correct info on Monster Hunter and Winning Post 9.

LOL, well it would have been the first PS5 game in the top 10 since launch.  I thought the mystery behind all of those PS5 hardware purchases had been solved.  I suppose the mystery remains....

Yea there was no way that random game just sold on par on PS5 and Switch while exclusives don't even crack the top 30.
Also, do any of you guys know when is Golden Week ?

So that means we probably won't get Famitsu numbers next week, and the May 6th numbers will be two weeks combined.

@Everyone quoting me:

It was a typo and I was responding to what I saw based on the assumption that it was accurate.

Nevertheless if I changed the "5" in my original post to a "4", it still rings true and the effect is the same.

Deal with that however you want.

Hey look, a PS4 game!

And it only sold 1,000 units less than the Switch version despite a gap of several million hardware units.

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

Lol, the PS5 to Switch ratio was not so realistic
