By the way, the claims thta Putin meddled in the 2020 elections seems strange. Maybe Biden needs to read that article:

Well, in all fairness, Biden also said more reasonable things. But we should be very wary of escalation towards a war, similar as we were when Trump was in office.

When speaking about Russian interference in US Elections, we are notably not talking about "election fraud", meaning "Votes being changed, added, or removed outside of the legal election process". Russian interference typically comes in the form of disinformation campaigns which seek to harm public discourse and sway voters. Being that this is typically done through the coordinated pushing of conspiracy theories with the direct goal of either hurting America or benefitting our enemies, this is not healthy to our democracy and should be met with retaliation. That retaliation typically comes in the form of direct economic sanctions on specific individuals and organizations or broader sanctions against a country.

To say simply that Putin will "Pay a price" is not war rhetoric, but a continuation of fairly normal policy which seeks to retaliate against those who seek to harm the integrity of our election. Further, it is not in any way at odds with the fact that the 2020 election was incredibly secure to assert that Russian interference (and interference by others such as Iran) were present during the election cycle.

We should prepare for the invasion tomorrow.

Doesn't sound like a war rhetoric tbh. Putin is used to something like that already. There is another more sensible Biden's comment from this interview which Putin indeed will pay attention to.
