Just came back from watching Weapons. I thought it was decent. Some good scenes, but the mystery is what keeps you engaged in this movie. As soon as I figured out what was going on, it became less interesting and it kinda fizzled out. Still well made and acted, but not great.

I watched Train to Busan last night. Good zombie movie, stays interesting to the end.

Not scary though, too many zombie movies for that. For an actual scary movie watch "The Railway Men: The Untold Story of Bhopal 1984". It's a documentary but feels like a zombie movie. (Of course no Zombies but 40 tons of methyl isocyanate gas that killed 3,800 people)

The Beverly Hillbillies episodes where Granny thinks the Northern states are restarting the civil war. Bet I know where she would have been in January 6 2021. -_-

The Bad Guys 2: It kinda started with the first film (for them), but after Puss 2 and The Wild Robot, Dreamworks has really hit their stride when it comes to 'stylized' animation. I'm glad the industry has found a non-Pixar 3D animation style that works, i.e. reintroducing 2D techniques like cel shading, squashing and stretching, smears, speed lines, model breaking, etc to a 3D environment. In some ways it feels like the best of both worlds and a shot in the arm for an industry whose films used to all kind of look the same. It's a joy to look at and a pretty fun movie to boot.

Now let's see if they can save Shrek 5...

Rewatching Stranger Things and just learned that an Alien series in on Disney+ !
I was watching Mimic (1997) last night .

The new Naked Gun. Couldn't stop laughing. 😂

Back to Resident Alien on Netflix.

Sixth episode of Amazing Digital Circus dropped a day ago. It is decent, but personally I still like the third episode best. Kinger kills it with his scenes, casually creating a healing butterfly and the 'I stand right behind you, am I?' line. I think this decently developed towards a more conclusive picture of the overall mystery, the butterfly, we get confirmation of the company name and Caine considering photographs of computers. Here is the whole show so far, it is freely available on Youtube if you are interested:
