Forums - Nintendo - New Trailer for Bowser's Fury Released

That trailer looks so good!! I played the hell out of 3D World on Wii U and this new Bowser expansion looks really good but I just can't justify myself to paying full price again for this. Maybe I'll wait for a sale? loll jk it's Nintendo. To anybody that hasn't played this yet this is a must buy!

This looks really good. If Bowser's Fury is at least 10 hours long, then I'm going to consider 3D World + Bowser's Fury a double release. It honestly looks like an entirely new game that's just being packaged with 3D World to give it more value.

I hope this hasn't taken too much of the 3D Mario team's commitment and that we still get the next mainline game this year or next.

I've lost all hope of getting either Odyssey 2 this year.

Wouldn't count on it being 10 hours. Nintendo described it as "short and action packed". Short is relative, but if they say it's short, it's probably to manage expectations. And 3D World itself was only 10-15 hours unless you wanted to unlock champion's road or whatever it was called.

I'm so tired of the Wii U retreads. It's almost like Wii U owners are being punished for buying that system. In return for our loyalty, we get to play the same games over again, and pay full price for the privilege.

At the very least, the system does get a few games of its own, so it's not too bad. What's actually a tragedy is that, despite the fact that almost all the important Wii U titles are now on Switch, my favorite is still missing. Either I or the game (Xenoblade X) are cursed.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I just refuse to re-buy anything on Switch that's already been on Wii U, or even Wii. Sadly, when you take away the rereleases their first party for Switch has actually been quite weak, and the system is largely salvaged through having the best third party support for a Nintendo console since the SNES.

I have also refused to buy any of the retreads.  Unfortunately, as I enjoy the core Nintendo IPs, that has left my Switch mostly collecting dust.  I've played only three big games on it - SMO, Mario Maker 2, and Mario+Rabbids.  I played BotW on WiiU.  I have Yoshi's Crafted World, and will probably play that soon.  But, that's pretty weak considering that I bought my Switch around launch.  Beyond those games, I've only played Sonic Mania and one or two other little things while traveling.  Really, it has been a big disappointment for me, and may be the last Nintendo system I buy.  I damn sure won't buy the next one anywhere near launch.

Also, the lack of a new Mario Kart is really unacceptable.
