Switch's total software sales haven't only passed 3DS but also GBA even though it hasn't quite caught the latter in hardware sales yet.

It's current attack ratio, or average number of games sold per console, is 7, which is pretty damn good for a system midway through it's life as attach ration tends to increase with time as more and more games become available.

Between PS4/Xbone being yesterday's news and PS5/XD struggling to provide sufficient stock, Switch is in a crucial position of being a hot product in the prime of its life, able to pick up the slack.
