And you need stadia sub, you don't need Stadia Pro. And does your Xbox Game Ultimate give you a capped 1080p maximum for the games you play there up to 1h a session?

I don't stream my games, so I have no idea what the resolution is capped at.

Also Stadia only has one subscription and that's Stadia Pro, which you do not need. All you need is a gmail account to access Stadia. You responded to me saying that you needed two subscriptions to use Ubisoft+ on Stadia when that was false. All you need is Ubisoft+ with a gmail account, then you have access to all Ubisoft games on PC and Stadia. Having an account and subscribing are two different things.

Free subs do exist.

You need to login with an account, that is a type of sub. But if you want to remove that and say only Ubi+ is need ok. But still not the same as XCloud since the free Stadia have a maximum resolution (not sure if there is fps limits as well) so the point still stands.

We need to have a serious discussion on how none of us actually own any games today except on switch. Any downloaded game is technically not ours to own and game discs on PS and Xbox are basically glorified DRMs

Considering you can pick almost any disc game from PS4 and insert on PS5 without ever even turning on internet on it and you will still be able to play it I disagree. I would say you have a lot more cases on Switch that you need to download parts of your game to actually play it than on PS4 or X1.

Don't you need to download the games first to play them? And wait what do you mean only a handful of games on switch need downloading.

PS4 discs either in PS4 or PS5 you just need to install to play, no download needed. There is some few that you do need to download (like Spyro) some of the stuff like if you want to play a part of the game.

There are plenty games on Switch where you need to connect to the internet to download, many games that came on let's say 8Gb carts and demand you download the rest of the game to play (sometimes a lot more than the size on the cart).

Are you mixing download and instal?

No. They install to the HDD since the disc drive is not fast enough to read the data during gameplay. Games update a lot tho.

1 million even under more favorable circumstances, like for example, having 1 million paying customers, isn't impressive after 7 months. It seems like a significant number of those "users" are from the boost Stadia got from their 2 months of free service giveaway.

The real power of Stadia is how it unites all of us here on VGC, and isolates Barkley. Poor Barkley. He seems like a good fellow.

So over 7 months it didn't hit what X1 or WiiU done on launch?
