Considering you can pick almost any disc game from PS4 and insert on PS5 without ever even turning on internet on it and you will still be able to play it I disagree. I would say you have a lot more cases on Switch that you need to download parts of your game to actually play it than on PS4 or X1.

Don't you need to download the games first to play them? And wait what do you mean only a handful of games on switch need downloading.

PS4 discs either in PS4 or PS5 you just need to install to play, no download needed. There is some few that you do need to download (like Spyro) some of the stuff like if you want to play a part of the game.

There are plenty games on Switch where you need to connect to the internet to download, many games that came on let's say 8Gb carts and demand you download the rest of the game to play (sometimes a lot more than the size on the cart).

Are you mixing download and instal?
