240-ish.

The most recent ones from the Xbox Black Friday sales were:

Civilization VI
Metro Exodus Gold
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3

Also got Cyperpunk pre-ordered.

All of the games above were bought using MS reward points (so I didn't use any of my own money).

Granblue Versus
NiOh 2
Resident Evil 3 Remake
Persona 5 Royal
Final Fantasy 7 Remake
Ghost of Tsushima
Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight

Bonus Q: Probably Yakuza: Like a Dragon, because if you buy it for PS4, you get the PS5 version for free later anyway.
And I might get Dragon Quest XI S, but I'll probably get it in 2021 instead.

Just a friendly reminder though that although you get the free upgrade, the save doesn't transfer over.

I did not expect that, so thanks for the heads up. I'll wait for the PS5 version then, unless they fix that.

~Edit~
This was an issue for Miles Morales as well, but they patched it since, so you can now transfer the save file. I imagine it'll work for other games as well.

Well over 50. But I'm building up a 16-Bit Collection to run on my Mega SG, and Super NT (whenever I can buy one that is.) As for new releases in 2020, I've bought...

Persona 5 Royal
Hades
TLoU Part II
Animal Crossing New Horizons
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition
Doom Eternal
Final Fantasy VII Remake
Spiritfarer
13 Sentinels Aegis Rim
Nioh 2
Ghost of Tsushima
Pikmin 3 Deluxe
Huntdown
Streets of Rage 4
Yakuza Remastered
Trails of Cold Steel IV
Rune Factory 4 Special
Sakuna of Rice and Ruin
Panzer Paladin

Overall, this is a slow year for me. Normally I buy about 24 $60 games a year. This year, I haven't hit that number even when including Indies, and "New" releases like Pikmin 3, and Yakuza Remastered Collection.

40-50, but I think more than 50 already. Just today, I bought 3 games.

16.

Bonus: At least Spiderman Miles Morales and Ori Will of the Wisps. Havent gotten around to buy 'em yet. December usually comes with a lot of sales so I'll probably buy more than just those 2.

Too many... Still have 3 coming in the mail (Yoshi's Crafted World, NSMBUD, and HW:AoC) and have Immortals preordered.

1doesnotsimply

Maybe about 40 or 50 but more than half of that is retro games. I've been on a real Japanese PS1 import kick lately.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

  1. Resistance 3 (PS3)
  2. Horizon: Zero Dawn (PS4)
  3. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Switch)
  4. Super Mario Odyssey (Switch)
  5. The Last Guardian (PS4)
  6. Kingdom Hearts All in One Package (PS4) [7 games technically]
  7. Dreams (PS4)
  8. Bayonetta 2 (Switch) [Includes Bayonetta download code]
  9. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy HD (Switch) [3 games]
  10. Super Mario 3D All Stars (Switch) [3 games]
  11. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS)
  12. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS)
  13. New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3D)
  14. Resident Evil 5 (PS4)

So 14 game purchases but 24 unique games included the bundled software.

I have 5 more games on my wishlist but most of those I intended to wait until next year to buy. I may buy them early if the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals are too good to ignore.
