I thought American companies, by law can't buy out Japanese companies? So that would rule out Sega, Capcom, Bandai-Namco and Konami being bought out.

How did Sony buy Insomniac Games then?

Actually reminds me of ZeniMax buying Tango Gameworks as well. Must be loopholes.

Why do you have mostly publishers listed? It's much more likely an independent studio will be acquired before another publisher.

If they acquire anyone else, it will be the likes of DontNod, Bloober Team, etc.
