Forums - Nintendo - Best Wii U game, excluding BOTW

I think the best is...

Bayonetta 2 7 11.11%

Mario Kart 8 12 19.05%

Splatoon 8 12.70%

DKC Tropical Freeze 2 3.17%

Mario 3D World 10 15.87%

Pikmin 3 6 9.52%

Smash Bros U 3 4.76%

Xenoblade Chronicles X 8 12.70%

Other 7 11.11%

Total:63

Still need to play Xenoblade X, but I have a feeling it would win.

Until then however, Bayonetta 2 would have to be my personal pick.

Splatoon or NES Remix, can't decide.

I just saw the poll and for one minute I thought it was best Switch game list

Mario Maker was easily my favorite game, just a great experience. Mario Kart, and Wind Waker remake are right up there.

Bread of the While is not the best Wii U game.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Pikmin 3 is the one I keep going back to

Bayonetta 2 hands down

Splatoon was my most played game. So yeah.

Agreed.

The best Wii U game is Breath of the Wild.

Real talk, Breath of the Wild sounds like an obvious title for a novel, yet it was only used until the Zelda game in question.

Splatoon or ZombiU

Splatoon I won't go into as others have already hit the main points. I think I logged more hours into this game though than any other.

ZombiU it was an early game that in my opinion used the gampad well to add to the tension of the game. You would have to use it to manipulate the inventory in your backpack which meant you were not looking around at what was happening around you. You might be rummaging and hear the tale-tale moans of approaching Zombies. As a big fan of the early Resident Evils this game just really resonated with me. I also liked that if you died your old character would become a zombie and you had to hunt your old self down and bludgeon them to permanent death to get your stuff back out of your old backpack. I don't remember seeing this mechanic used before and I though it was brilliant. I replayed that game many times trying to make it all the way through the game on the same character. I came reaallly close a couple of times.

I loved the WiiU and had hundreds of digital games for the machine. It was my then current Gen way back machine where I could replay Metroids, Zelda's, Megamans, Castlevania's, handheld versions of franchises I had skipped, ect. I know it flopped but it got me to spend tons of money on it.
